October 8th 2018, Visiting Professor John Duffy of University of Alaska, Anchorage gave a lecture to public administration students on developing research proposals that work. Prof. Dr. Duffy explained the basic contents of a successful research proposal and also discussed the importance of using a “story” format to engage readers in the proposal. He provided numerous examples of how using the “story” approach benefited him throughout his professional and academic life.
