In the framework of Public Administration Week, Prof. Dr. Christian Strenger, Honorary Professor and Director of Center for Corporate Governance at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany has given a lecture for Public Administration program students on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018. The lecture was hold at NUM Building V, room 202 under the title of Corporate Governance.
Prof. Dr. Christian Strenger is an internationally renowned expert on Corporate Governance and is a founding member of the Commission of German Corporate Governance Code, and a lifetime achiever for it. He serves as a member of supervisory boards, including Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, Frankfurt and ‘The Germany Funds’, New York as Chairman and also, Deputy chairman of the ‘Private Sector Advisory Group’ of the IFC Global Governance Knowledge Group.
His professional career includes corporate finance responsibilities at Deutsche Bank’s head office in Frankfurt. Furthermore, he was serving as general manager of Deutsche Bank’s London Branch, as chief executive of the US investment banking activities of the Bank in New and as CEO of DWS Investment GmbH – a leading European fund manager in Frankfurt/Main.
It is an honor to have him at SIRPA, NUM for the second time as a well-known expert worldwide. We are really appreciate that our staff and students have an opportunity to learn from his valuable experience in the field of corporate governance.
