«30 Years of Diplomacy between Korea-Mongolia: Language and Cultural Exchange»

The organizing committee is kindly inviting you to participate in international conference on « 30 Years of Diplomacy between Korea-Mongolia: Language and Cultural Exchange » that will take place on 09-11 July 2020 at National University of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The conference was supported by the 2020 Korean Studies Grant Program of the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS-2020-C18). The conference aims at stimulating worldwide research on Mongolian and Korean studies. In this conference, scholars who are specialized in Mongolian related issues in Korean studies as well as Korean related aspects in Mongolian studies would be welcomed. Scholars who are concerned with any area of Mongolian or Korean studies including languages, literature, history, or cultures would also be welcomed. The official languages of the conference are Mongolian, Korean and English. Presentations will be 20 minutes long, with 10 minutes following for discussion. Those who participate in the conference are requested to register on beisiinkhen@yahoo.com or batkhishig@num.edu.mn before February 15th 2020.
International participants will pay for their own passage to Ulaanbaatar and accommodation costs. The local organizing committee will cover meals (dinner on the 8th, 9th, 10th July and lunch on the 9th, 10th July) and supervise conference publications logistics and costs. In addition, we will provide academic tour (Mongolian National Festival – Naadam events) for all international participants.
