Representatives led by Seoul National University President Oh Se-Jung and Associate Dean of Office of International Affairs Bernhard Egger visited NUM and participated in the 80th-anniversary celebration of the National University of Mongolia.
On October 5, 2022, at the 80th-anniversary conference of the NUM, President of Seoul National University Oh Se-Jun delivered a speech on behalf of the international partner organizations of NUM. In his speech, President of Seoul National University Oh Se-Jun highlighted the marking of the 20th anniversary of official cooperation between NUM and Seoul National University, while expressing the interest to further strengthen the cooperation initiatives that have been developed during the 20 years of cooperation and congratulated the all-academic community of NUM on the anniversary.
On October 4, 2022, NUM leaderships, B.Ochirhuyag, President of NUM, S.Doljin, Head of Research Department and D.Badamdash, Head of Department of Cooperation welcomed to meet Seoul National University President Oh Se-Jung, Associate Dean of Office of International Affairs Bernhard Egger, and staff member Choi Jimin and exchanged further cooperation proposals.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen previous cooperation and develop cooperation in new fields of information technology, forestry, and natural sciences. Also, they agreed to intensify the implementation of the cooperation and student exchange agreement established in 2020 and reviewed new information about the Seoul National University President’s Scholarship.
On October 3, 2022, President of Seoul National University Oh Se-Jung, met with the representatives of alumni of Seoul National University working at NUM. On October 5, 2022, Bernhard Egger, Associate Dean of Office of International Affairs of Seoul National University and Professor of Computer Science, met and discussed about cooperation in the field of information technology with professors from the Department of Information and Computer Science and the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, NUM.
