CALL FOR PAPERS
International Conference on the Paradigm Change in University –Industry Cooperation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR)
The Organizing Committee warmly welcomes scholars, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and graduate students from around the world to participate in the International Conference on Paradigm Change in University–Industry Cooperation for the Fourth Industrial Revolutionto be held on September 03-05, 2026 at the National University of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This conference provides a collaborative platform for sharing ideas, research findings, and practical experiences that shape the future of higher education and industry collaboration in an era of rapid technological transformation.
Background
The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), driven by rapid advances in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, automation, big data, and cyber-physical systems, is fundamentally reshaping economies, labor markets, and societies. In this context, university–industry cooperation (UIC) is undergoing a profound paradigm shift—from traditional knowledge transfer models to dynamic, co-creative, and innovation-driven partnerships.
Universities are no longer only providers of graduates and research outputs, while industries are not merely end-users of knowledge. Instead, both actors are becoming strategic partners in innovation ecosystems, jointly shaping skills development, research agendas, technology commercialization, and sustainable development.
This conference aims to explore new models, strategies, policies, and practices of university–industry cooperation that respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Objectives of the Conference
- To examine emerging paradigms and models of university–industry collaboration in the era of 4IR;
