Prof. Dr. John Duffy, University of Alaska Anchorage, once again starts working at SIRPA, NUM. Beginning in October he is giving lectures to our Public Administration Doctorate students within the course “Public Administration Issues”. Also, Prof. Dr. Duffy is planning to present our annual NUM Leadership Conference on October 18 th . The Public Administration Department looks forward cooperating with Prof. Dr. Duffy on following areas such as curriculum development, academic journal article, capacity development of our teachers, and constructive dialogue and seminars relating to public administration. Prof. Dr. Duffy teaches graduate level coursework in the areas of program evaluation and performance measurement, public policy analysis, executive communication skills, and executive managerial skills, at the College of Business and Public Policy of the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and provides continuing education courses in leadership, planning and high-performance organizations to public administrators through UAA’s Center for Corporate and Professional Development. Prof. Dr. Duffy has over 30 years’ experience in local government, among other things serving at the senior executive level inAlaska. Prof. Dr. Duffy has previously been at the Public Administration Department SIRPA for one month during the spring semester of 2017. Throughout that time, he gave lectures titled “Introduction U.S. Public Administration” to our bachelor students as well as lectures titled “Public Policy” to master students. We appreciate his willingness to share his knowledge and practical experiences. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Duffy has donated Academic books and journals to
our department several times and plans to continue to do so. We are honored and happy to work with Prof. Dr. Duffy.
