Felt City Tours, a community-based tourism project implemented by GerHub and funded by Project Redwood, Stanford GSB Alumni Program, is launching an exciting program for university
students and fresh graduates!
The Fellowship is inviting you to participate in our Felt City Tours if you love your city, your streets, and your culture and want to share these fascinating stories with visitors!

We are looking for our first cohort of Felt City Fellowship 2026-2027, launching the program with this mentorship and training announcement.

Introduction:
We are launching the Felt City Fellowship!
Felt City Tours, a community-based tourism program, is now seeking its first-ever cohort of ambitious and optimistically determined Youth Fellows. This program offers young professionals a pathway to explore the nomadic intersections of their city, work closely with the GerHub team, and contribute as a guide and curator to community-based tourism and beyond.

Application Deadline: Sunday, March 1, 2026

We are looking for:

  • Students: 3rd or 4 th year of university or college
  • Fresh graduates
  • Interested in history, urban planning, culture, tradition, hospitality, tourism, language, communications and others
  • Creative, storytellers, passionate about Mongolian culture
  • Language: Strong English and Mongolian proficiency

Join the Fellowship to:

  • Explore the captivating intersection of nomadic heritage and modern urban life
  • Discover the hidden gems of our city
  • Receive mentorship and hands-on learning
  • Spend summer break on a paid, part-time basis within a community-based tourism context
  • Internship opportunities in a fast-learning environment through competitive selection

Fellowship Duration

February – December 2026
February – March: Recruitment and selection of up to 20 fellows
March: Mentorship and training; Half-day for up to 9 days
April – December: Engagement in community-based tourism and mentorship (paid)
December – January: Competitive selection of one fellow for internship
