The Department of International Relations of the School of International Affairs of the National University of Mongolia organizes the annual “Model UN” students’ model conference on October 22-23, 2021 for the 16th year with theme topic of “Cooperation during Covid-19: Climate change”.
This year’s model conference is organized in cooperation with UN specialized organizations on Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the school and the 60th anniversary of Mongolia’s acceptance to the United Nations.
The conference will include more than 80 students representing 16 countries from universities and secondary schools in Mongolia, and will discuss global issues and adopt a draft resolution.
The opening and closing ceremonies will be attended by B.Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Tapan Mishra, UN Resident Coordinator, B.Ochirkhuyag, Rector of the National University of Mongolia, S.Battulga, Director of the School of International Relations and Public Administrations of NUM, and representatives of the International Organization for Migration, UNICEF Mongolia, FAO Mongolia, and UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia.
