Academic cooperation MOU signed between NUM and Western Sydney University, Australia

A memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation with the Western Sydney University, one of Australia’s leading universities, has been renewed within the framework of NUM’s object of continuing long-term partnership, and developing international cooperation of newly structured Graduate schools and collaborating with world leading universities.

The President of the Western Sydney University, prof. Barney Glover, Director of International office prof. Yi-Chen Lan, and a specialist in Asian affairs Kevin Ho, visited NUM for the first time on September 19, 2014, where opportunities for developing cooperation were discussed and established. Within this framework, two universities cooperated in information technology, engineering, environment, and business areas, and students from WSU participated in the summer school of NUM.

This time, to deepen cooperation and support graduate education and research, Dean of Graduate School N.Baatarbileg and WSU Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Global Development prof. Yi- Chen Lan, Dean of Graduate Research School Prof. Clive Baldock, held an online meeting, where deepening of the cooperation was agreed upon on March 23, 2022. In the result of meeting, MOU with the University of Western Sydney signed, that is included cooperation areas of development of academic and research cooperation, exchanging of graduate students, organizing joint programs and courses in the fields of natural sciences and engineering, and joint supervision of doctoral students.
