NUM has signed MOU and international cooperation agreements to strengthen the sustainable, long-term partnerships

In the framework of the 80th-anniversary establishment of training national specialists in higher education, The National University of Mongolia, the first higher education institution in Mongolia, signed a memorandum of cooperation and cooperation agreements with partner institutions that operate mutually beneficial long-term and stable partnership.

Austrian Academy of Sciences, Austria

Since NUM joined the Ernst Mach Grant Eurasia-Pacific scholarship program funded by the Austrian government in 2002, NUM professors, researchers, and doctoral students have been working for a short period at Academy of Sciences in Austria. On August 3, 2011, the representatives led by the director of the Institute of Social Anthropology of the OeAW, Andre Ginrich, paid an official visit to the NUM and signed a MOU on cooperation. Within the context, both parties agreed to exchange lecturers and students in social and cultural anthropology, history, archeology, paleontology, climatology, and Buddhist studies, conduct joint research, organize training, seminars, and meetings, and implement short-term academic programs. Also, NUM academic staff and doctoral students worked as visiting researchers at the Institute of Social Anthropology for long and short periods. Based on the evaluation of above-mentioned cooperation by both parties, the MOU was renewed to continue and expand the cooperation. In the newly concluded MOU, the fields of cooperation have expanded in the fields of sociology, demography, art studies, politics, and economy.

Baikal State University, Russia

In 2008, the first signed agreement with the Baikal State University in Irkutsk, Russia, was to cooperate in economics, law, management, business, and ecology and to initiate a joint program in the field of legal clinic. In 2013, the Faculty of Informatics and Accounting, BSU signed an agreement with the Business school of NUM to organize a joint academic conference. After reviewing the long-term cooperation, both parties concluded a new agreement on wide-scale cooperation in all fields of education and research.

Buryat State University, Russia

The academic staff and researchers of the NUM have years of experience working with Buryat State University in a wide range of natural, social sciences and humanities. In 2001, BSU Faculty of Law and the NUM School of law, In 2010, BSU Faculty of Biology and Geography and the NUM Faculty of Biology, In 2014, BSU Faculty of Economics and Management and the NUM Business School, In 2013, the NUM Business School have signed a cooperation agreement and has been cooperating. Based on this, two universities will exchange academic staff, researchers, students, staff, research information, curriculum experiences, organize joint research, classroom and online training, and student internships, prepare graduate students for mutual learning, and conduct graduate student research internships, according by renewed cooperation agreement. A cooperation agreement was signed in also ecological tourism and cultural exchange.

Germany University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, Germany

In 2011, for the first time, the School of Economy of NUM signed a cooperation agreement in the field of public administration with Germany University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. After that, in 2014, NUM School of International Relations and Public Administration renewed the agreement and has been working together. Due to the expiration of the previous cooperation agreement, the two sides evaluated and discussed, and the agreement with the provision of exchange of academic staff and research materials, joint training and research was extended and renewed between the universities.

Changwon National University, Republic of Korea

In 2011, NUM first signed a cooperation agreement with the Changwon National University in the fields of academic exchange, joint training, and research. On May 25, 2019, the CWNU professor Min Geun Ki, visited the NUM with the member of parliament of the Republic of Korea Kim Young Joo. At this time, a new student exchange agreement was signed to strengthen cooperation and exchange up to two students per academic year.
