Changwon National University, the President Ho Young Lee, Dean of Future Convergence College Heekyu Choi, and Assistant director of International Affairs and Education Jihoon Gu attended the 80th-anniversary celebration of the National University of Mongolia.
On October 4, 2022, NUM leaderships, B.Ochirhuyag, President of NUM, S.Doljin, Head of the Research Department, and D.Badamdash, Head of Department of Cooperation, welcomed to meet representatives of Changwon National University to exchanged proposal on further cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties agreed upon further strengthening the 10 years of cooperation and develop cooperation in the fields of natural sciences and engineering. Also, the parties emphasized active cooperation in higher education training and joint research and development in the field of materials science, chemical, and energy engineering.
To strengthen the cooperation, a student exchange agreement was signed with the Changwon National University to allow up to 2 students per semester to study. Through this agreement, the students of NUM will be able to study at the Changwon National University, and this applies same to the Changwon National University students as well.
