In this webinar, departments of Sociology and Social Work from the National University of Mongolia and the University of Lodz participated together. The webinar aims to expand cooperation between the universities through the exchange of knowledge and experience.

In this webinar, a total of 8 teachers and 2 students from both universities were invited as guest speakers to present their researches. Topics from University of Lodz were “The human body through the eyes of a sociologist”, “Social policy response to Ukrainian immigration in Poland”, “Sociology of Youth – Polish context”, and “Qualitative research in social sciences”. On the other hand, from the National University of Mongolia topics such as “Brief history of Mongolian sociology and youth”, “Socio-cultural capital of Mongolian youth; value approach”, “Sense of Belonging among Migrant Residents in Ulaanbaatar”, and “School food program in Mongolia” were presented.

As a result of this webinar, the teachers from both universities agreed on collaborating in further academic works. Therefore, we believe that in the future, the cooperation between the two universities will expand not only through student exchange, but also through educational activities.
