Under the project “Urban Resilience and Adaptation for India and Mongolia – URGENT” funded by the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union, the partner institution of the project, the Estonian University of Life Sciences organized a 14-day intense course “DRONE – Using Drones in Environmental Research – Basic Knowledge and Examples of Applications” between October 30 and November 12, 2023 in Tartu, Estonia.
A total of 2 people from the National University of Mongolia (Associate professor D.Davaadorj and PhD student R.Amartuvshin) participated.
This course aims to give an overview of drones, flight regulations, flight planning, and safety. Overview of drone-based remote sensing and its applications are also included.
