President of the National University of Mongolia (NUM), Prof.Dr. Badarch Dendev, convened with international professors affiliated with the Public Administration Department of the School of Political Science, International Relations, and Public Administration (SPSIRPA) of NUM on October 17th, 2023 in the framework of Public Administration Week 2023.
The visiting professors hailed from distinguished institutions include:
- Prof.Dr.Holger Muehlenkamp, Rector of German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, Germany;
- Jonghan Lee, Vice President of the Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA), South Korea;
- Hill Sothea, Vice President of National University of Meanchey, Cambodia;
- Dr. Dr. h.c. John Duffy, University of Alaska, Anchorage, USA;
- -Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Andreas Knorr, German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, Germany;
- Jaeho Eun, Korean Institute of Public Administration (KIPA), South Korea;
- Roy Rotha, Head of the Public Administration Department, National University of Meanchey, Cambodia; and
- Kai Masser, German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, Germany.
These scholars represent entities that collaborate closely with the Public Administration Department at SPSIRPA, NUM.
The President of NUM, Prof.Dr. Badarch Dendev, expressed his gratitude for the substantial contributions made by these professors towards the advancement of a comprehensive public administration curriculum and the enhancement of the competencies of the Public Administration Department’s staff.
The discussions centered on avenues to augment collaboration between universities and research institutions with NUM, with a particular emphasis on importance of a robust networking platform within the realm of public administration.
The President commended the Public Administration Department for its pivotal role in the field of public administration and for building a great cooperation with various international universities and research institutions.
Finally, the President extended best wishes for a successful culmination of Public Administration Week events.
