In the framework of “Public Administration Week”, a fellow researcher of the Korean Institute of Public Administration (KIPA), South Korea, Dr. Jaeho Eun, gave a virtual lecture to master students of the public administration program at the School of Political Science, International Relations, and Public Administration (SPSIRPA), National University of Mongolia (NUM), with the title “Communication: Patterns and Skills for Successful Rapport-Building with the Target Population of Public Policy” on October 19, 2023.
In the guest lecture, Dr. Jaeho Eun emphasized that proper communication instruments should be developed among public institutions and citizens to create effective public policy. By providing necessary information to citizens via suitable instruments, public policy making and its results will be greatly enhanced. Master’s students engaged actively, probing both theoretical underpinnings and practical applications.
This was the fourth visit of Dr. Jaeho Eun at NUM and his current visit included a presentation on “Public Leadership and Policymaking: A Concept Analysis and Public Leadership Capacity Modeling” at the 12th NUM Leadership International Conference, as part of the collaborative efforts outlined in the agreement between NUM and KIPA.
We are expressing our sincere gratitude to Dr. Jaeho Eun for his contribution to the cooperation agreements of the institutions.
