For the 9th edition of UB IMPULSE: Expert talks on Quality Growth, the School of International Relations and Public Administration (SIRPA) of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) will host Prof. Dr. Michael Frese to the National University of Mongolia in cooperation with the Integrated Mineral Resource Initiative (IMRI) of “Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) program. This public lecture and discussion will be held on the topic of “Entrepreneurship and how to stimulate it among the youth” at the Building #5, 6th floor lecture hall of the National University of Mongolia between 14:00-17:00 on April 12, 2016.
Honorary Guest speaker: Prof. Dr. Michael Frese
Professor Frese received his Diploma and Doctorate from the Free University of Berlin and Technical University Berlin respectively and holds a joint appointment at National University of Singapore, Business School and Leuphana University of Lueneburg (Germany). Professor Frese’s research spans a wide range of basic and applied topics within organizational behaviour and work psychology. Most important are his longitudinal studies on psychological effects on unemployment, impact of stress at work, predictors of personal initiative, as well as psychological success factors of entrepreneurs. He is also known for his cross-national research on innovation. He is the most-cited management scholar in Germany and Asia-Pacific region and has authored more than 350 scientific articles and 25 books.
