Within the cooperation of ASA (Research and Work Abroad Program), Germany and Public Administration Department, SIRPA, NUM, researchers Nora Beckmann and Gregor Daumann are working at the department of Public Administration. They participate in a research program until the mid of December 2018.
Ms. Nora Beckmann studied labor market management at the University of Applied Labor Studies, which is a dual bachelor program of the federal Employment Agency in Germany. Afterwards she worked as placement officer at the Employment Agency Berlin-Mitte for two years. Since September 2016 she enrolled in the master program Sustainable Business Management at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Germany).
Gregor Daumann studies Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Witten/Herdecke University, Germany. During his studies he focused on the one hand on the role of institutions shaping the economic behaviour and on the other hand on political economy with a special emphasize on the transformation process in Russia from a central planned economy to a free market economy. His academic performance was honoured by a fellowship of the German National Foundation. Before his studies Gregor Daumann was volunteering one year in Erdenet, Mongolia. Pleased to be back in Mongolia he participates in a research program in cooperation with the German organization Engagement Global and the Public Administration Department, SIRPA, NUM.
