On September 03rd 2021, U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia H.E. Mr. Michael S. Klecheski gave a virtual guest lecture to about 140 bachelor students of the School of International Relations and Public Administration, National University of Mongolia. U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia H.E. Mr. Michael S. Klecheski’s lecture was not only the welcoming class for the 2021-2022 academic year, but also an intellectual investment to the department staff and students within the framework of the 10th anniversary of the Public Administration Department.
His lecture mainly focused on the essential ideas of the public administration in general and how the U.S. government selects its civil service officers. Also, the Ambassador talked about the importance of the continuing professional development and personal growth for civil service officers to overcome the current and emerging challenges in the public administration. As the lecture was very engaging and interesting, the 90-minute lecture was too short to take many questions from students and we managed to take a few questions.
On behalf of the Public Administration Department and SIRPA, we sincerely appreciate U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia H.E. Mr. Michael S. Klecheski for his informative and very practical lecture and we wish you all the best to you and your family and your colleagues. We are really excited and looking forward to your next lecture.
