The 6th international conference on Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has been succesfully organized by the School of Science and Arts and School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, National University of Mongolia under a topic of “Research and Development in Chemistry” between June 20-22, 2018. The opening speech is given by Vice president of National University of Mongolia, chairman of the conference Prof. Bayanjargal Ochirkhuyag. In his opening speech: “…The subjects of this international conference range from descriptions of education in chemistry, environmental monitoring, physical chemistry, food chemistry, molecular design, chemical and nano-engineering. Government of Mongolia pay special attention to supporting in all respects chemical industrial sectors, developing advanced and green technology, establishing effective, innovative and promoting sustainable development of R&D sectors.
…Finally, I wish all the best and success to all participants”. In this conference, researchers, professors and students from 7 countries were participated and discussed their research results within 6 scientific sessions: Plenary lectures, General, Inorganic, Organic session, Poster and Student conference. Invited plenary lectures were given by researchers from USA, Japan, Turkey, Korea and Mongolia which gives opportunity to discuss and share latest scientific researches. The speciality of this conference was student conference has been held and presented 14 undergraduate and graduate students’ presentations. In this session, Ms. M.Otgon-Ujin, who is undergraduate student of the School of Engineering and Applied Science, was awarded as the best presentation.
